About the Role:
An innovative and supportive secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to start in September. The successful candidate will teach engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and inspire students to develop a passion for science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in one or more science disciplines
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing actionable feedback
- Maintain high standards of behaviour, safety, and lab practice
- Collaborate with the Science department on curriculum, enrichment, and extra-curricular activities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related subject
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus)
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for science education and student success
