Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5, depending on experience)
Foster a love for science by encouraging curiosity, enquiry, and critical thinking
Use assessment data to monitor student progress and adapt teaching accordingly
Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development within the department
Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Support enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, and school events
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and raise standards
What We''re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or working towards it
A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined Science)
Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
Passion for inspiring students of all abilities and backgrounds
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational abilities
