Science Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a secondary school based in Slough. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all three sciences and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. We are looking for somebody who: Able to teach general science to GCSE level. is passionate about the importance of education and their subject area. refuses to accept that disadvantage or SEND should limit ambition or potential is consistently an excellent practitioner with a positive work ethic. is student centred and progress focused is a versatile and proactive professional who is flexible in their operational and strategic outlook Responsibilities Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Teach various Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment. Provide individual tutoring and support for students who require additional assistance. Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational practices and advancements in science. Skills Strong knowledge of scientific concepts across various disciplines across the Science curriculum. ..... full job details .....
