Science Teacher - SEMH:Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to deliver Science at a Pupil Referral Unit in the M12 area. The setting supports pupils in Key Stages 3and4 with SEMH needs that have been permanently excluded from mainstream education.The Role:Teaching clearly structured lessons, which engage and motivate children to meet individual needsUnderstanding the barriers to learning faced by children with SEMH, supporting their emotional wellbeingPlanning and leading teaching and learning activitiesPlanning, organising and prioritising recordsPosition Details:Position: SEMH Science TeacherLocation: ArdwickType of Work: Temp to PermMinimum Rate of Pay: 250 per day, depending on experienceStart date: Jan 2026Experience, Training and Qualifications:Previous experience delivering Science to GCSE level, in a similar settingUp to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)Ability to build rapport with pupils, parents and staff membersTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional referencesOTHERIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
