Secondary Science Teacher (Chemistry) Location: Liverpool, L21 Start Date: As soon as possible Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term Working Hours: Full time, 8:00am - 4.00pm Salary: Paid to scale Key Responsibilities: Play a key role in shaping students'' understanding of scientific conceptsCreating engaging hands-on activities to demonstrate scientific principles.Assessing students'' progress through assignmentsAdapt teaching techniques to individuals to help them grasp complex topicsEnsure safety in the classroom which includes proper handling of equipment.Managing classroom behaviour to create a positive learning Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Physics, Biology, or Chemistry.Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).Right to Work in the UK.Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.Ability to provide two professional references.
