Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Bridgwater, Somerset, who are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4. This is a long-term position until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Assessing and tracking pupil progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Working collaboratively within the department and wider school community

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil development
• An enthusiastic, adaptable, and professional approach
