Science teacher
The RoleThe successful candidate will:Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons that inspire and challenge students. Teach across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at Key Stages 3 and 4. Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential. Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives. Participate fully in the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and parents'' evenings. Maintain high standards of behaviour, attendance, and achievement.We are looking for someone who:Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has a degree in a Science-related subject (desirable but nt essential) Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education. Has excellent classroom management and communication skills. Is committed to raising standards and improving student outcomes. Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life. Has experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting (desirable but not essential for ECTs).What We OfferA supportive and collaborative Science department.
