Science Teacher First For Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Netherton area to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive department committed to delivering engaging and high-quality science education. This role is for 4 days a week with an immediate start. We welcome applications from experienced teachers and ECTs who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists. QTS is essential The Role Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential) Plan, prepare and assess in line with the national curriculum Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners Monitor and track student progress effectively Contribute positively to departmental development Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science A commitment to raising attainment and student progress Excellent classroom management skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Why work with First For Education?
