Job Description
Science Teacher / Science ECT
Based in the Borough of Newham (E6)
Teaching across KS3 - KS5, including a nationally renowned Sixth Form
Full support provided through an outstanding ECT induction and CPD programme
January 2026 Start - Permanent, Full-Time position
Opportunities for TLRs: KS Co-ordinator, Lead Practitioner, and more
MPS1 - UPS3 + TLRs available (depending on experience)
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Must hold UK QTS (or be on track to achieve it by July 2025)
Specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed
Strong academic background and subject knowledge
High expectations and a clear commitment to evidence-informed practice
Reflective, open to feedback, and committed to professional growth
