Science Teacher

Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced Science-Teacher for a mainstream secondary academy based within the Leeds-area on a full-time-basis.

The role will involve teaching Science-at both KS3 & KS4 and previous experience teaching at both levels is required.

The position is due to begin on 13th October and will continue on a full-time basis until the summer.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to teach Science-up to KS4
• A passion for the subject
• Ability to raise standards throughout
• Ability to engage with a varied-cohort
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to plan and differentiate lessons accordingly
• Good behaviour management strategies
• Hold right to work in the UK
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
• Hold PGCE with QTS or equivalent
