Job Details:

• Start Date: After October half term 2025

• Contract: Full-time, long-term cover

• Pay Rate: -150 to -230+ per day dependent on experience

• Location: Swinton, Greater Manchester

We''re seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher for a long-term role at a welcoming secondary school in Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage students in KS3 and KS4 Science within a supportive environment.

The Role:

• Teach across all three sciences at KS3 and KS4 following the national curriculum.

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons to motivate and challenge learners.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain excellent behaviour management and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching Science at secondary level.

• Strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt to different classes.

• Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
