Science Teacher Location: Watford Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Stevenage for a September 2026 start. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to become part of a supportive and well-resourced science department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.The successful candidate will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on Physics, and will play an active role in supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes while developing curiosity and confidence in the subject.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4Teach chemistry, biology or physics as a specialism and contribute to the wider Science curriculumPlan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculumMonitor student progress and provide constructive feedbackContribute to the wider life of the school and the development of the Science departmentThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentA degree in chemistry, Biology, Physics or a related scientific disciplineExperience teaching Science at secondary levelStrong subject knowledge in chemistry, biology or physicsExcellent classroom management and communication skillsA commitment to raising achievement and supporting student progressWhat the School OffersA ..... full job details .....
