The Supply Register is recruiting Science Lecturers to support West Lancashire College on a flexible, bank basis. This role is ideal for specialists in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, particularly those with experience in Applied Science or A Level delivery.

The Role

As a Science Lecturer, you will deliver engaging lessons, including practical elements, supporting learners across a range of science programmes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering lessons across Applied Science / A Level

• Supporting practical lab sessions and experiments

• Preparing learners for exams and coursework

• Monitoring and tracking learner progress

• Promoting safe laboratory practices

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in a Science-related subject

• Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)

• Experience with A Level or BTEC Science

• Strong practical/lab skills

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
