This role is ideal for a recent Science graduate who is keen to gain hands-on, in-school experience and is considering teacher training in the near future.You will work closely with experienced Science teachers, supporting practical lessons and becoming an integral part of the department. This is an excellent opportunity to build classroom confidence, understand curriculum delivery, and gain valuable exposure before progressing into a PGCE, School Direct, or other teacher training route.The position starts as soon as possible and will run until the end of July 2026, covering a long-term staff absence. Your Role in the Science Department You ll be embedded within a supportive and collaborative Science team, with responsibilities including: Supporting teachers during KS3 and KS4 Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)Preparing, setting up, and clearing away equipment for practical experimentsAssisting with demonstrations and practical activities in lessonsEnsuring equipment and materials are used and stored safely in line with health and safety ..... full job details .....
