We''re looking for an experienced professional to lead the planning and delivery of a critical Schools PFI contract expiry programme on behalf of a forward-thinking local authority.This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the successful transition and expiry of a major Schools PFI contract, protecting service continuity, managing commercial risk and delivering value for the Council and its communities.Key responsibilities include:Leading the planning and delivery of the Schools PFI contract expiry programme.Developing and maintaining a comprehensive expiry plan and ensuring delivery against key milestones.Managing relationships with internal stakeholders, SPV partners, government representatives and professional advisors.Interpreting contractual obligations and translating these into practical exit and handover plans.Coordinating asset inspections, technical surveys and service handover activities.Managing commercial risks, governance and change control throughout the programme.Overseeing the ongoing commercial and performance management of the Schools PFI contract.Producing high-quality reports and providing clear updates to senior stakeholders.Supporting wider PFI expiry planning by sharing lessons learned ..... full job details .....
