About the Role

The Schools Compliance Officer position in London, offered by Amida, is a contract or interim assignment paying £60,000–£70,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This hands-on role involves leading a compliance project across multiple educational sites in Southern England, reporting to the Group Head of People. You will audit current practices, advise school leaders, and strengthen administrative processes, ensuring the Single Central Register and all related records are meticulous. Candidates need substantial compliance experience within education, a full UK driving licence, and vehicle access, as travel is essential. Based across the South Midlands or Southern England, you will collaborate closely with site teams to deliver watertight standards.

My client, a fast-growing specialist education group, is looking for a Schools Compliance Officer to lead and implement a robust compliance project across multiple sites across the South of England.

Reporting to the Group Head of People and working with individual schools, this is a hands-on role, where you will audit, advise and improve compliance practices across the group. You will work closely with leaders and administration teams to ensure records are accurate, processes are robust, and everything compliance related is watertight including the Single Central Register.

Core Duties:

Safer recruitment and safeguarding compliance (KCSIE)
Single Central Record / Register (SCR) audits and improvement
Right to Work and visa compliance
Training and supporting multi-site teams
Driving consistency and best practice across the group

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, confidence interpreting guidance, and the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels. Experience in the education sector combined is essential.
