School Youth Worker

Vision for Education are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and engaging Youth Worker to join a dedicated team within a Primary and Secondary School setting supporting children with Autism and complex learning needs.As a Youth Worker you will play a key role in building trusted relationships, promoting positive well-being, and supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and personal development.About the role: The Youth Worker will be supporting young people with Special educational needs in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.Following the guidance of the teacher but knowing the students well enough to deal with any conflicts Build strong, supportive relationships with children and young people, offering consistent guidance and encouragementWork collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to provide tailored supportPlan and deliver structured activities and informal sessions to promote social, emotional, and personal developmentSupport pupils in managing behaviour, developing confidence, and building resilienceActively contribute to the inclusive and nurturing ethos of the school communityAlways promote safeguarding and the welfare of pupils at all times.
