School Site Supervisor

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a School Site Supervisor to join a fantastic primary school on an initial 3-month temporary contract. This is a part-time role working 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities Security and Keyholding: Open and close the school premises and manage alarm systems. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine inspections of buildings and grounds, log repair needs, and carry out handyperson tasks such as basic carpentry, plumbing, and painting. Health, Safety, and Compliance: Oversee health and safety regulations, conduct statutory checks (such as fire alarm testing and Legionella water checks), and manage Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) logs Contractor and Staff Management: Supervise external contractors, monitor cleaning or caretaking teams, and ensure work meets required standards and safety policies. Utilities and Facilities Operations: Maintain heating, hot water, lighting, and ventilation systems, and handle porterage (moving heavy furniture, deliveries, and setting up spaces for events) Grounds and Weather Response: Maintain outdoor spaces, clear litter, manage waste disposal, and handle emergency weather responses like snow clearing or flood control Essential Requirements Enhanced DBS Previous experience as a school site supervisor Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to ..... full job details .....
