School Site Manager - Milton Keynes

Interaction Education are pleased to be working alongside a lovely school in Milton Keynes in their search for a School Site Manager, with a view to going permanent after a period of 12 weeks temporary.This role would suit someone with extensive experience in the School Site Management side of things. Key Responsibilities: Manage the general upkeep of the school grounds, buildings, and facilities, including cleaning, repairs, and routine maintenance. Ensure that health and safety standards are met across the site. Carry out minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Liaise with contractors and external suppliers for larger maintenance projects. Ensure all security systems are functioning and manage site security protocols, including locking/unlocking the school premises. Coordinate site-related health and safety risk assessments and maintain records. Assist with event setup and logistical support as required by the school. Provide general support to the school''s administration and teaching staff in relation to site needs. Requirements: Previous experience in facilities management or a similar maintenance role, ideally in a school environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and site management. Strong practical skills and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive and flexible approach to work.
