School Site Manager

Empowering Learning is working with a school in west yorkshire who need a School Site Manager. This is a full time job starting asap, supporting the schools cleaning and maintenance teams. The school will need someone to open and close. This can be done over a split shift with a gap in the middle of the day. The pay is 15 to 20 per hour and may become permanent for the right candidate. DutiesCleaning the building or supervising a team of CleanersGardening and performing landscape duties or supervising others in these rolesInspecting the building, including heating, cooling, lighting and alarm systems to make sure they are in good working orderPerforming basic repairs and maintenance tasks as requiredSourcing, booking and supervising contractors for major repairsMonitoring cleaning materials, tools, and furniture and reordering as requiredManaging bookings for any buildings or rooms available for hireOpening building at the start of the day and locking all doors and windows when not in operationAdhering to the company''s safety policies to create a safe working environment for everyone This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to supporting the educational needs of students. The teaching assistant will work closely with the lead teacher to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
