School Receptionist - ASAP Start

School Receptionist Location: Twickenham
Contract: Full-time, longer-term 
Start: ASAP
Hours: Monday–Friday
Pay: £120 - £130 per day 

We are currently recruiting for a School Receptionist to join a welcoming school environment. The successful candidate will have previous school reception or school administration experience and be confident working in a busy front-office setting.

The Role

• Acting as the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and staff.
• Managing the school reception area and handling incoming calls and enquiries.
• Signing visitors in and out and following safeguarding and visitor procedures.
• Supporting with pupil attendance and general school administration.
• Managing emails, correspondence and day-to-day enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating school systems.
• Assisting staff, pupils and parents with queries in a professional and helpful manner.
• Supporting the wider administration team with general office duties.
• Maintaining confidentiality and following school policies and safeguarding procedures.

• Previous experience working as a School Receptionist or within a school office is essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Professional, approachable and able to remain calm in a busy environment.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding within an education setting.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
