Part-Time Premises Officer
Location: Southwark, South London
Pay: -16 - -18 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30pm - 7:00pm
Contract: Part-time, Long-term

Remedy Education are looking for a reliable and hardworking Premises Officer to join a friendly and supportive school in Southwark. This part-time role is ideal for someone with good practical skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and experience in site maintenance or caretaking.

The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring the school is safe, secure, and well maintained at the end of each day.

The role:

• Carry out daily cleaning and light maintenance tasks across the school site

• Lock and secure the building at the end of the day

• Ensure all classrooms, corridors, and facilities are tidy and ready for the following morning

• Monitor the site for any maintenance or safety issues and report them promptly

• Support with minor repairs and upkeep where necessary

• Ensure the school grounds and premises remain safe and welcoming at all times

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a school premises, caretaking, or site management role

• Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Have basic maintenance and DIY skills

• Be health and safety conscious with good attention to detail

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS certificate
