Job Tittle: Premises Assistant / Handyman Location: Lambeth, South West London Hours: Monday to Friday 7.10am - 4.10pmPay: 16 - 18 per hourStarting ASAPRemedy Education are looking for a candidate to join a Primary school based in Lambeth. You will be responsible for liaising daily with the Headteacher on premises issues, supervising the cleaners or the cleansing service of the school. Ensure the security of the school premises. And most importantly help maintain the internal and external fabric of the school''s premises as a safe working environment.Job ResponsibilitiesGeneral maintenance throughout the schoolReporting all defects which require specialist repairRegular Water temp checksUndertake minor repairs / DIY along with fixtures and fittings and painting (including desks tables chairs etc)Reading, recording and reporting all meter readings as required by the Head Teacher and or Energy Conservation Officer.General site supervision, including prevention of trespass, ensuring that unauthorised parking does not occur.Opening and closing of school gatesTo NoteYou will be put through a DBS check (if you do not already obtain a DBS)Full UK driving licenseOpportunity to be taking on perm after 12 weeks.For more information or if interested please click ''Apply Now or send your CV to Carly at Remedy, ..... full job details .....
