Hours: 08:00am - 16:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, term time only

Remedy Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Premises Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lambeth.

This is a key role within the school, ensuring the site is safe, secure, clean and well-maintained to support both staff and pupils.

The Role

As a Premises Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Opening and closing the school site daily

• Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs around the school

• Ensuring the school grounds are safe, clean and secure at all times

• Setting up and clearing away rooms for lessons, events and assemblies

• Conducting regular health & safety checks and site inspections

• Supporting with deliveries and moving equipment when required

• Assisting with general caretaking duties across the school

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience in a caretaker or premises role (school experience desirable)

• Is practical, hands-on and able to carry out basic maintenance tasks

• Has a good understanding of health and safety procedures

• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work

• Can work both independently and as part of a team

• Has a proactive and flexible approach
