School Nurse

Salary: 100 - 120 per day depending on experience Contract: Full Time Location: Wigan Start Date: ASAP Exclusive Education are seeking a dedicated School Nurse / Level 3 First Aider to work within a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Wigan. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, organised and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting the health, wellbeing and welfare of young people. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing first aid, managing medical needs and promoting a safe and healthy school environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide first aid and emergency care to students, staff and visitors. Assess injuries and illnesses, determining appropriate treatment or further medical intervention where necessary. Administer medication in line with school policies and individual healthcare plans. Maintain accurate medical records and incident reports. Manage and monitor student health care plans, including those relating to chronic medical conditions. Liaise effectively with parents, carers, school staff and external healthcare professionals. Support the school''s safeguarding and wellbeing procedures. Ensure first aid supplies and medical equipment are fully stocked and maintained. Promote health awareness and wellbeing initiatives across the school.
