About the Role
Pertemps Edinburgh Contracts is recruiting a School Lunch Assistant to join a public sector client in Edinburgh. This part-time, temporary role runs term-time, starting August 2026, with typical hours Monday to Thursday, 10:00–14:00, paying £13.66 per hour. The School Lunch Assistant will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, provide friendly service to pupils and staff, and maintain clean, safe kitchen and dining areas. The role requires an approachable, dependable team player comfortable in a supportive environment. A PVG Certificate is needed, costing £59 for a new application or £18 to update an existing one.
