Spencer Clarke Group are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools. We are looking for enthusiastic, patient and dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.Whether you are an experienced Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, Cover Supervisor or someone looking to take your first step into education, we would love to hear from you.We work with a wide range of primary schools, secondary schools, including mainstream, SEND, SEMH and Alternative Provision settings, offering opportunities from day-to-day assignments through to long-term placements.As a Learning Support Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across the classroom, working on a one-to-one basis or providing targeted support to small groups.Your responsibilities may include:Supporting pupils with their learning and developmentWorking alongside teachers to deliver effective classroom supportProviding one-to-one and small-group interventionSupporting pupils with additional learning needs and SENDHelping pupils overcome barriers to learningEncouraging positive behaviour and engagementBuilding positive and trusting relationships with pupilsSupporting pupils with their social, emotional and academic developmentAssisting with classroom activities and preparation of resourcesMonitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching ..... full job details .....
