Position: School Kitchen Assistant

Contract Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Salary: -12.71 - -13 per hour + Holiday Pay + Benefits

Location: Waltham Forest, London

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in preparing and serving nutritious meals to pupils and staff? Adecco Romford & London East are currently recruiting for a School Kitchen Assistant to support the daily operation of a busy school kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Support the preparation and serving of hot and cold meals
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a kitchen, catering, school, or food service environment is desirable
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a busy environment
