HR Officer Location: Slough, Berkshire (SL2) Salary: 31,000 - 36,000 per annum Contract: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner) HR Officer - School Based We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Officer to join a welcoming and well-established school in Slough (SL2). This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with previous experience working within an educational setting who is passionate about supporting staff and contributing to the smooth operation of the school. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, safer recruitment practices, and school policies. Key ResponsibilitiesManage recruitment and onboarding processes, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, and completing pre-employment checks.Ensure compliance with safeguarding and safer recruitment regulations.Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.Support managers with employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, and performance processes.Prepare HR documentation including contracts, offer letters, and employment correspondence.Monitor staff absence and produce HR reports as required.Liaise with payroll regarding contractual changes and employee information.Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures.Support staff wellbeing initiatives and HR projects.Person Specification Essential:Previous HR experience ..... full job details .....
