The role ensures statutory compliance, effective employee relations and the consistent application of pay, conditions and HR policies. Key Tasks and Accountabilities:Act as the lead professional HR adviser to the Education Directorate and maintained schools on school workforce matters, providing authoritative, risk-based advice on employee relations issues.Represent the Education Directorate at dismissal hearings for staff employed by the Council, ensuring compliance with employment law and statutory guidance.Provide expert advice to senior leaders and governing bodies on dismissals, grievances, capability, disciplinary matters and negotiated exits, including supporting the Education Directorate in securing resignations of senior staff in community and voluntary controlled schools, where appropriate.Advise the Education Directorate and maintained schools on Green Book terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with the Council''s pay spine, Single Status Agreement and equal pay legislation, including undertaking job ..... full job details .....
