School HR Advisor - ASAP Start - Dartford Location: Dartford Salary: 32,678 to 42,988 per annum (depending on experience) Contract: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week, all year round) About the Role A well established secondary school is seeking an experienced and proactive School HR Advisor to join its team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast paced education environment and is passionate about supporting staff and managers across all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Working closely with senior leaders, the successful candidate will provide high quality HR advice, ensuring employment legislation, organisational policies and best practice are consistently applied. Key Responsibilities Provide day to day HR advice and guidance to managers and staff. Support recruitment campaigns, including advertising, shortlisting, interviews and onboarding. Manage safer recruitment processes and ensure all pre employment checks are completed. Prepare contracts, offer letters and employment documentation. Advise managers on absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance matters. Support employee relations cases, attending meetings and taking accurate notes where required. Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems, ensuring compliance with GDPR. Monitor probation periods and support managers with performance reviews.
