If you have a background in healthcare or personal care and want to make a genuine difference in young lives, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, physical disabilities, and speech and language difficulties.Support pupils with personal care needs such as feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance while promoting dignity and independence.Implement strategies from Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), tailoring learning activities to meet individual needs.Collaborate with class teachers, therapists, and parents/carers to ensure student progress and well-being.Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that supports emotional regulation and positive behaviour.Use visual aids and communication tools (such as PECS or Makaton) to enhance understanding and interaction.Requirements:Experience working as a Health Care Assistant or in a care-based role, preferably with children or individuals with additional needs.Understanding of SEN conditions, including ..... full job details .....
