School General Assistant - Enhanced DBS Needed

About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our team. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school. You will work closely with staff and students to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with general cleaning duties across classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
• Supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation and service (if required)
• Setting up rooms for lessons, events, and activities
• Helping with the movement of equipment and supplies around the school
• Monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times

• A positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
