This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming school environment.The RoleAs a Facilities Assistant, you will work alongside the Site Manager and wider premises team to ensure the school site is well maintained and operational on a day-to-day basis.Key responsibilities include:Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site.Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the premises.Ensuring classrooms, communal areas and external spaces are safe and well maintained.Setting up and moving furniture and equipment for lessons and school events.Carrying out regular site checks and reporting any issues or hazards.Assisting with deliveries, contractors and visitors when required.Supporting the opening and closing of the school site.Helping to maintain high standards of health and safety across the premises.Responding promptly to facilities and maintenance requests.Carrying out other general site duties as required.About YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:Previous experience in a facilities, maintenance, caretaking or site-based ..... full job details .....
