TEMPORARY SCHOOL COOK - BARROW-IN-FURNESS Location: Barrow-in-FurnessStart Date: September 2026Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-2:00pmPay: £18-£20 per hourPosition: Temporary School Cook We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable School Cook/Chef to join a school kitchen in Barrow-in-Furness on a temporary basis from September. The role includes: Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals for pupils and staff Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness Following food safety and allergen procedures Working efficiently as part of a small kitchen team Providing a friendly and professional service What we''re looking for:Previous experience in a school, care, nursery or similar catering environmentFood Hygiene certificateKnowledge of allergens and food safetyReliable, organised and able to work independentlyEnhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUP All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy.
