School Cook - CreweLocation: Crewe, Cheshire Position: School Cook Hours: 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday - during school hours Contract: Temporary / Long-term Start Date: As soon as possible Are you an experienced Cook looking for a rewarding role with excellent school-hour working times?We are currently looking for a School Cook to join a welcoming school in Crewe, preparing fresh, nutritious and enjoyable meals for pupils and staff.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cook looking for consistent Monday to Friday hours, working during the school day.The RoleAs the School Cook, you will be responsible for:Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for pupils and staff.Following menus and recipes while catering for different dietary requirements.Preparing meals safely and ensuring all allergen requirements are followed.Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and food presentation.Ensuring food is stored and prepared safely.Monitoring stock levels and minimising food waste.Maintaining accurate food safety and allergen records.Working closely with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.Creating a positive lunchtime experience for pupils.About YouWe are looking for someone who:Has previous experience working as a Cook, ideally within a school, nursery, care, restaurant, catering or similar environment.Has a good understanding of food hygiene and safe food preparation.Is confident following menus and recipes.Has experience catering ..... full job details .....
