Smile Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the North Manchester.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.The successful applicant will be responsible for cleaning classrooms, corridors, communal areas, toilets and other areas of the secondary school, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the site.Duties and Responsibilities:Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areasCleaning and maintaining toilets and washroom facilitiesEmptying bins and disposing of waste appropriatelySweeping, mopping and vacuuming floorsCleaning surfaces and high-touch areasEnsuring cleaning equipment and products are used safelyReporting any maintenance or safety issuesFollowing school cleaning and health and safety proceduresWorking efficiently both independently and as part of a teamThe Ideal Candidate Will:Have previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar settingBe reliable, punctual and hardworkingTake pride in maintaining high standards of cleanlinessHave good attention to detailBe able to work independently and as part of a teamHave a positive and professional attitudeUnderstand the importance of health and safetyBe comfortable working within a secondary school environmentWhy work with Smile ..... full job details .....
