School Cleaner

Adecco are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued educational clients in the Hindley Green area for a School Cleaner to join their team on an ongoing basis. Start Date: 1st SeptemberJob Type: Temporary on-goingDays: Monday to FridayHours: 7.5 hours per week, 1.5 hours per day (times can be discussed)Hourly Rate: 12.1ph- 13.00phKey ResponsibilitiesCleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and other areas across the school site to a high standardSweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing designated areasEmptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctlyReplenishing toilet rolls, soap, hand towels, and other cleaning supplies as requiredEnsuring all areas are clean, hygienic, and ready for use by staff, pupils, and visitorsReporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate personFollowing school safeguarding, health and safety, and security procedures at all timesRequirementsPrevious cleaning experience is desirable but not essentialAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyHigh standards of cleanliness and attention to detailReliable, trustworthy, and punctualA valid Enhanced DBS certificate is required, or a willingness to obtain one before startingGood understanding of health and safety procedures and the safe use of cleaning products and equipment Adecco is a disability-confident employer.
