School Cleaner - Retford - Education and TrainingAcademics is a specialist education recruitment agency and we are looking for a Cleaner to join our team supporting a variety of local schools in the area of Retford, Nottinghamshire.This temporary position offers the opportunity to support local schools to Retford by maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the school premises.Position: School CleanerLocation: RetfordContract: Temp, Flexible, OngoingPay: 14.24 to 15.00 per hour (including holiday pay, paid via PAYE and dependent on experience)Start Date: ImmediateSector: Education and TrainingThe Role:You will be responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of the school premisesKey Responsibilities:Carry out general cleaning duties throughout the school, including classrooms, corridors, offices, communal areas, and other designated spaces.Sweep, vacuum, mop, and dust floors and surfaces as required.Dispose of waste safely and appropriately.Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies when necessary.Follow school cleaning procedures, health and safety requirements, and COSHH guidelines.Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or damage to the appropriate member of staff.Use cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly.Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the school premises.Requirements:Minimum of 6 months cleaning experience, ideally within a school settingRelevant training in the use of cleaning chemicals and health and safety (COSH ..... full job details .....
