About the Role
Berkeley Scott seeks experienced School Chefs for temporary assignments across Oxfordshire, including Woodstock, Witney, Bicester and Oxford. Working flexible shifts within school kitchens, the successful candidates will prepare nutritious meals for pupils, manage food hygiene standards and support catering teams during term time. Previous professional catering experience is essential, ideally gained in an education setting. These ongoing placements offer weekly pay, holiday pay and a rate from £17.00 per hour. Chefs must demonstrate strong kitchen skills, reliability and the ability to adapt to different school environments. Commutable locations include Chipping Norton, Kidlington and Charlbury.

Berkeley Scott Recruitment are currently looking for experienced School Chefs to join our temporary team, working at schools across Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas.
This is a great opportunity for experienced chefs who enjoy working in an education environment and are looking for flexible temporary work, ongoing assignments and the opportunity to work at a variety of schools.
Commutable areas
We are particularly interested in chefs based in or around:
Woodstock, Chipping Norton, Kidlington, Witney, Charlbury, Bicester, Oxford and surrounding areas.
We''re looking for chefs who have:
Previous professional catering/chef experience
Ideally, experience working within a school, education or similar catering environment
A good understanding of food hygiene and allergen awareness
The ability to work independently and as part of a catering team
A reliable and professional approach
A passion for preparing fresh, nutritious food
DBS Requirement
Due to the nature of the role, candidates will be required to have an Enhanced DBS check suitable for working in a school/education setting.
Candidates who already hold a suitable Enhanced DBS are welcome to apply. If you do not currently have one, Berkeley Scott can advise you on the DBS application process and requirements.
