Job Title: School Kitchen Assistant
Location: Primary School, Northumberland
Pay Rate: -14.00 - -17.00 per hour
Hours: Part-time / Term-time (hours to be confirmed)

About the Role:

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the school kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with food preparation

• Serving meals to pupils and staff

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment

• Supporting the cook and wider catering team

What We''re Looking For:

• A positive, team-focused attitude

• Previous kitchen or catering experience

• Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards

• Reliability and punctuality

• A genuine interest in working within a school environment

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential) or be willing to purchase one
