About the Role

Berkeley Scott seeks School Catering Assistants - Temp - Tetbury to support school kitchens across the local area. These temporary posts suit reliable people who take pride in providing pupils with nutritious meals. Duties include helping with food preparation, serving lunches, clearing tables, washing up and keeping work areas clean and tidy. Shifts fall during daytime, term-time hours, offering a pattern that fits around family life. Weekly pay is provided, with holiday pay accrued. Candidates must hold or be ready to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate. Prior experience in a kitchen or school setting helps, though a strong work ethic matters most.

We are currently recruiting Temporary Catering Assistants to join busy school catering teams around Tetbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone reliable, hardworking, and passionate about working within school catering environments.

PLEASE NOTE: You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a CURRENT Enhanced DBS certificate to be considered for school roles.
Locations: Primary schools, secondary schools, and academies acrossandnbsp;Tetbury and nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation
- Serving meals to students and staff
- Maintaining high levels of kitchen hygiene
- Cleaning and clearing kitchen and dining areas
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:
andnbsp;- Previous catering or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
andnbsp;- Experience in school or contract catering (desirable)
- Strong teamwork and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, reliable, and organised approach
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
