This is a varied catering role with tasks such asKeeping the kitchen area clean and tidyOperating a dishwasherPutting away deliveriesAssisting with food preparationServing food to pupilsSetting up and clearing the dining areaWe would expect the successful school catering assistant to be able to work as part of a team and enjoy working in a catering environment.Ideally you will have worked in a professional food handling role such as a kitchen porter, server or food production operative, however training can be provided.This would be an ideal role if you have worked in the hospitality or food production industries and are looking for a part time, term time only role.
