School Caretaker

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for primary schools based in South Liverpool, who are looking for reliable and committed Caretakers to join their team. You must have previous experience working in schools to be eligible for this role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with maintenance or facilities experience who is passionate about helping to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming learning environment for children and staff.Key Responsibilities:Opening and securing the school premises, including during holiday periods and events (split shifts may be required)Conducting routine maintenance, repairs, and general DIY tasksSupporting cleaning operations and monitoring site cleanlinessMaintaining outdoor areas and ensuring safe access during adverse weatherManaging waste and recycling in line with school proceduresEnsuring health and safety standards are met throughout the school siteLiaising with contractors and supporting the delivery and setup of equipmentThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Previous experience in a similar caretaking, facilities, or site management roleA sound understanding of health and safety practicesStrong practical skills and the ability to use initiativeFlexibility and reliability, with a willingness to adapt to the needs of the schoolAn Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply through Tradewind Recruitment What Tradewind Offers:Competitive hourly payA dedicated, experienced consultant to support your placementAccess ..... full job details .....
