School Caretaker - Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire
Role: Flexible Hours/Work Through Summer Holidays/Immediate Start

We are looking for a practical, reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join our friendly team at a specialist SEN School in Beaconsfield.

You will help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Opening and securing the school site (key-holder duties)
• Responding to alarm activation when required
• Carrying out basic repairs, painting and maintenance tasks
• Building flat-pack furniture and moving equipment
• Conducting security checks and site patrols
• Assisting with fire, security and heating systems
• Replenishing site consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet rolls, etc.)
• Supporting planned and reactive maintenance across the school

About You:

• Experience in caretaking, maintenance, facilities or a similar role
• Practical DIY and repair skills
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently
• Good understanding of health and safety
• Positive attitude and willingness to support a specialist school environment
