This role has become available through our strong partnership with the school, and they are seeking a reliable and experienced caretaker to help maintain the site.About the roleAs a School Caretaker, you will play a key role in ensuring the school premises are safe, secure, and well maintained. You will work closely with the facilities team and oversee both internal maintenance and external contractors.Key responsibilities include:Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairsOpening and closing the school (keyholder responsibilities)Ensuring the security of the building and groundsChecking heating, lighting, and alarm systems regularlyLiaising with contractors and monitoring completed workSupporting general site upkeep and health and safety complianceOrdering equipment and supplies when requiredWorking Hours:Rotating shifts:7:00am - 3:00pm11:00am - 6:00pm(Monday to Friday)About youPrevious experience working within a school or similar environmentGood maintenance and DIY skillsReliable, proactive, and able to work independentlyStrong communication skillsA valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)Available to interview and start ..... full job details .....
