We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable School Caretaker to join a welcoming school in Stockport on a long-term basis starting 11th June.

Working Hours (Split Shift):

• 7:00am - 10:00am
• 2:00pm - 6:00pm

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and clean environment for staff and pupils.

Duties will include:

• Opening and locking the school premises
• General maintenance and basic repairs
• Health & safety checks
• Site security and alarm systems
• Supporting with deliveries and site upkeep
• Liaising with contractors where required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous caretaker/site supervisor experience, ideally within a school setting
• Good maintenance and DIY skills
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• A proactive and dependable attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
