This role is only suitable for candidates with previous caretaker/site experience within a school or similar setting who already hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service. Applicants without both of these requirements will not be considered. The Role As a School Caretaker, you will support the safe, secure and effective day-to-day running of the school site. You will complete general maintenance, site checks, security duties and basic repairs while ensuring the school remains clean, safe and ready for staff and pupils. Key Responsibilities Open and secure the school site where required. Complete daily site, security and health and safety checks. Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance. Monitor the condition of the building, grounds and facilities. Support contractors and maintenance visits where required. Respond to site issues and report larger repairs appropriately.
