School Caretaker Start: ASAP - July 2026 Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm (Full-time) Pay: 14.24 - 18.00 per hour (dependent on experience)Premier Education are recruiting for an experienced School Caretaker to work in a busy secondary school. This is a full-time, temporary position starting as soon as possible and continuing until July 2026, covering staff sickness.This is a varied and hands-on role, combining day-to-day site responsibilities with general maintenance duties. You will play a key role in ensuring the school site is safe, clean and well-maintained for students, staff and visitors.The role:You will work closely with the Site Manager, Senior Leadership Team and wider school staff to support the smooth running of the school premises. Daily duties will include: Opening and closing the school site (setting up and setting down) Carrying out regular litter picks across the school grounds Emptying bins and ensuring waste is managed appropriately Undertaking basic maintenance and repairs around the site Responding to ad hoc maintenance requests Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times Supporting with general site duties as requiredThe ideal candidate will have: Previous experience working as a school caretaker (essential) Good practical skills with the ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance Strong understanding of health and safety on a school site The ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Good communication skills A ..... full job details .....
