School Caretaker

Now Education-is seeking a reliable, proactive, and hardworking School Caretaker to join our team and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for-pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the school premises daily
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and security of the site
• Conducting regular health and safety checks
• Managing heating, lighting, and alarm systems
• Supervising contractors and deliveries when required
• Assisting with room setups for school events and activities
• Maintaining outdoor areas including pathways and playgrounds
• Act as a duty key holder-

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous caretaking, maintenance, or site management experience
• Be practical and capable of carrying out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
• Have good knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Be dependable, organised, and able to work independently
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
